Jenzabar Annual Meeting a Tremendous Success
Information Exchange, Customer Awards, and Networking Marked the Event
Cambridge, MA — July 13, 2005 –
Jenzabar, Inc., the pioneer of Total Campus Management (TCM) solutions for higher education, today announced that its 2005 Jenzabar Annual Meeting (JAM) concluded with resounding success. The fourth Jenzabar Annual Meeting featured: new product announcements and demonstrations, a highly interactive information exchange between the company and its clients, extensive user training sessions, new user groups. A new Executive Program for institutional leaders infused the event with a positively charged atmosphere. JAM 2005 hosted over 1000 attendees, including client representatives, partners, and other industry luminaries, for a four-day event held June 14 – 17 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina. Representatives from public, private, 2-year, 4-year and specialty schools came together at JAM, with administrators and educators traveling from nearly every state in the U.S. and countries as far away as Egypt.
Among the conference’s many highlights, Jenzabar recognized the longest-standing customers of its family of companies (CMDS, Inc., CARS Information Systems Corp., Quodata, and Campus America, Inc.) at a special luncheon on Thursday, June 16. The customers that have maintained a relationship with the Jenzabar family of companies for at least 25 years include: Goshen College (IN), Grove City College (PA), Palo Verde College (CA), Columbia College Chicago (IL), Northland Pioneer College (AZ), Northwestern Oklahoma State University (OK), Oakwood College (AL), Westminster College (PA), Eastern Mennonite University (VA), Geneva College (PA), Indiana Institute of Technology (IN), Westminster College (MO), and Wilmington College (OH), as well as Cedar Crest College (PA); Endicott College (MA); Olivet College (MI); and Universidad Del Sagrado Corazon (PR), institutions that will each reach the 25-year milestone later this year.
“We are thrilled to have such a distinguished list of clients that have been with the Jenzabar family of companies for a quarter-century or more,” said Robert A. Maginn, Chairman and CEO of Jenzabar, Inc. “The list of clients who have been with us for more than ten years is even more impressive, but the luncheon would have taken up the entire afternoon!”
Jenzabar took the opportunity of its annual meeting to solicit feedback from its customers on a wide range of issues, from the general concerns of the higher education community to feedback on specific Jenzabar products and services. The initial results from respondents indicate that Jenzabar is on track with its products and services to meet the current and future needs of Institutions of Higher Education. These surveys also revealed a high degree of customer confidence in Jenzabar’s direction and strategy for continuing to meet the needs of its clients as well as an overall high level of satisfaction with the information and interaction provided during the conference.
“I found the Jenzabar Annual Meeting to be highly stimulating,” said Terry Dennis, Vice President of Finance for Florida Southern College. “It was a great opportunity to not only network and exchange information with our peers from around the country, but to also hear about Jenzabar’s corporate and product visions. The company’s commitment to its customers is clearly at the forefront of its efforts, and JAM brought that message home. The new Executive Program took the technology conversation to a new level, a strategic level, which allowed for direct interaction with senior level financial and technology executives.”
“JAM provided an excellent opportunity for my team to learn more about enhancements to the Jenzabar product suite and how we can better utilize the portions of the present system,” commented Bernadette McMahon, Chief Information Officer for Columbia College Chicago. “With so many great sessions, we were able to collect a lot of valuable information on topics important for our college. We really appreciated Jenzabar’s client focus at this event, not only through interaction with the company’s employees, but also through the forums that they provided with the opportunity to share and learn directly from other Jenzabar clients.”
The Jenzabar Annual Meeting comprised over 300 user information sessions with several fun-filled activities designed to facilitate networking and interaction with Jenzabar associates. Almost half of these presentations were delivered by Jenzabar clients, a testament to the close relationship that the company has with its customer base. Additional highlights of the conference included: the unveiling of Jenzabar Non-Traditional System (NTS), a solution designed to meet the special requirements for managing non-traditional educational programs, and the release of Jenzabar Internet Campus Solution (JICS) 6.0, the company’s “.NET” next-generation Web portal product. Additionally, conference participants attended a presentation by Eduventures, Inc. that highlighted its latest industry research. Attendees also enjoyed a special tour and dinner at the world-famous San Diego Zoo.
“The Jenzabar Annual Meeting is always a much-anticipated and well-received event, and this year’s JAM was no exception,” continued Maginn. “With the many exciting developments we shared and the opportunity to interact with such a large number of client institutions first-hand, JAM 2005 set the stage for Jenzabar’s continuing growth as we build upon the solid foundation of our current customer base.”
