Tiffin University Taps Jenzabar for Web Portal and Learning Management Solutions
Technology Improvements Bring Total Campus Management to the Institution

Cambridge, MA — August 16, 2005 — Jenzabar, Inc., the pioneer of Total Campus Management (TCM) solutions for higher education, today announced that Tiffin University, Tiffin, OH, will bring students, faculty and staff together under a single umbrella using Jenzabar’s Internet Campus Solution (JICS), and enhance its online course management capabilities with Jenzabar’s Learning Management System (LMS). The implementation of a campus-wide Web portal has been a longstanding goal of the University as it seeks to combine the functionality currently offered through disparate Web sites serving students, faculty and staff. Tiffin’s interdepartmental technology committee also was impressed with the capabilities of Jenzabar’s Learning Management System, and saw the value of tight integration with the Jenzabar ERP system used by the University.

In 2004, the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) honored Tiffin University as one of only two schools across the United States to effectively demonstrate how collaboration between departments of Students Affairs and Academic Affairs can make a significant difference in student retention. Tiffin’s innovative approach makes use of Web resources in conjunction with personal contact to ensure that each individual student’s educational needs are recognized and proactively managed.
