Eastern Mennonite University Adds Web Functionality
Upgrades to Jenzabar TE Web Module
Using Jenzabar Partnership Program
CAMBRIDGE, MA-June 14, 2002-Eastern Mennonite University
has purchased the Jenzabar TE Web module to extend service offerings
to students via the Web. The University made the purchase using
discounts from a new multi-year Jenzabar Partnership Program (JPP)
contract with Jenzabar. Through JPP, the cost of the Web module
proved to be significantly less for Eastern Mennonite. With product
discounts and implementation services cut in half, Eastern Mennonite's
out-of-pocket expenses for the Web module were extremely low.
Jack Rutt, Eastern Mennonite's Director of Information
Technology explained the benefits of purchasing JPP. "The timing
of JPP was excellent for us. In Spring 2001, we conducted an extensive
study to determine whether or not to purchase the Web Module for
our Jenzabar TE product. We determined at that time that we could
not afford it. When we were presented with the JPP program, we saw
the benefits of the JPP program immediately. We recognized the value
of the program in that we were now able to purchase the Web module."
"We are very happy with our AS/400-Jenzabar TE
platform. It is a very cost effective, stable, and mature product.
We are very excited to add the Web module to it. This allows us
to keep the AS/400 solution that we're happy with, and add Web functionality
to our service offerings."
