Jenzabar Has Record-Setting Performance in
First Quarter 2002
CAMBRIDGE, MA-June 25, 2002-In spite of a generally
lackluster higher education software market and traditionally slower
first quarter results for the industry, Jenzabar, Inc. reported
record sales for the first quarter.
In the first quarter of 2002, Jenzabar won against
competitors in several key contracts, including institutions such
as Avila College, Bluefield College, Carl Albert State College,
Central Florida Community College, Pennsylvania College of Optometry,
and Thomas More College. The Company also signed several new, multi-year
maintenance agreements with existing clients through the new Jenzabar
Partnership Program (JPP). Key JPP contracts include Eastern Mennonite
University and Shaw University.
"We have several other contracts in final negotiation
stages," stated Sam Burgio, Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
"As a result, we will not see a drop in the sales momentum
from the first to the second quarter. Also, our sales pipeline is
solid for the rest of the year."
"We see our visionary i3 (i-cubed) product strategy
as the right one for higher education in the 21st century,"
Jenzabar CEO Bob Maginn stated. "Our newly strengthened financial
structure will help fuel our ability to execute our plans."
Jenzabar's i3 merges the three "i" value propositions
of Intelligence, Integration, and Internet into a single product
strategy.
