Tennessee Valley's Volunteers
Jenzabar-Knoxville Support Staff Earns Much-Deserved
Praise
CAMBRIDGE, MA - February 11, 2002 - When James White
established a settlement on Cherokee hunting ground in Tennessee
in 1786, he could not have foreseen how large and successful it
would become. 196 years later, that settlement hosted a World's
Fair and 11 million people. The intrinsic, can-do nature of Tennessee's
volunteer spirit was the reason Knoxville stepped out onto the world
stage in such high fashion.
And that can-do attitude lives on at Jenzabar-Knoxville.
Witness the following letter:
Dear Sirs and Madam,
My name is Lynda Perky, and I am the database administrator
of our Alpha here at Avila College in Kansas City, Mo. I wanted
to inform you of the outstanding support your Knoxville office provides.
My employment began here in Mid-November 2000, and I had NO experience
in Open VMS or POISE. My background was Novell 4.11 networking and
two-and-a-half years at a
Gateway call center here in Kansas City.
Over the entire past year or so, Pete, Jeff, Kevin H., Ed, Diana,
Judy, and Mark have been outstanding. Not only are they extremely
knowledgeable about their product, but also the respect and courtesy
given is outstanding and greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, I am not great at expressing myself
and feel that I am not conveying the level of appreciation well
to you. I have been bragging on them to my Vice President as well
as others here at Avila.
Judy Beasly helped me ALL day (off and on) with the
financial aid startup for the year 02 - 03. Then I enlisted her
help at setting up a surprise Pizza Party for everyone on Monday.
We are now looking at the Jenzabar EX product and
just waiting for the finance committee's approval. Your support
team for the EX product has some very big shoes to fill, and I hope
to be very pleased there also.
Please let this wonderful team know how much they
mean to Jenzabar.
Sincerely,
Lynda Perky
About Avila College
Avila College is a dynamic, Catholic, four-year liberal arts and
pre-professional college, sponsored and founded by the Sisters of
St. Joseph of Carondelet, which offers a broad range of studies
- from business to corporate communications to allied health to

Avila offers nearly 40 undergraduate degree programs

first college in Kansas City to offer programs in nursing...gerontology...social
work. Avila is also the first - and currently only - four-year Kansas
City college to offer a paralegal program approved by the American
Bar Association. Avila is one of only 23 colleges and universities
in the entire country that offer a four-year degree in radiologic
