Jenzabar Offers Tutoring Services Through New Tutoring Module
November 2000Jenzabar launched its new Tutoring
module on its exclusive higher education Web portal. The new module
connects tutors with learners on a nationwide tutoring network,
and comes from an exclusive alliance with Tutor.com, announced in
July 2000. The Tutoring module adds an exciting new resource for
students in need of tutoring.
"There are many exciting possibilities for students
seeking tutoring," stated Ling Chai, CEO of Jenzabar. "Students
can receive tutoring in person, or through the Tutoring modules
online classroom, complete with chat, specialized whiteboard, and
voice-over-IP functionalities." Students using Jenzabar.com
now have the ability to connect to a large network of qualified
tutors and receiving extra help any time of the day, from any computer.
Jenzabar has offered special incentives to introduce
students to the Tutoring module. Students receive $15 of free online
tutoring when they opt-in to the tutoring service. "In addition,
Jenzabar students may also become tutors themselves, and earn extra
money while assisting other students with their course work,"
added Chai.
At no additional cost to Jenzabar client institutions,
the new tutoring functionality is fully operational and available
today. Jenzabar users can access the service through their schools
Jenzabar Web portal, or through the Jenzabar corporate site at www.jenzabar.net
